Celebrating Christmas and Easter with Your DWELL Group

Every year of the DWELL curriculum includes a Christmas and Easter story you’ll share with your group. Most years these are stand-alone stories included in Unit 3 (Christmas) and Unit 5 (Easter), as those are the units churches are most likely to use during those seasons. When you come to these sessions, you’ll find that they are clearly marked “Christmas” and “Easter” and that we include a note for leaders to save these sessions for the Sundays when they will celebrate these holy days with their group.
The exception to this will be years when the Christmas and Easter session fits into the story arc at a different part of the year. For example, Flex year 1 begins with the stories of Jesus’s birth, so that year will not have a Christmas story in Unit 3 because your group will have already done that story. However, we understand that you may still want to mark the occasion, so we’ve put together some of our favorite ways to celebrate Christmas and Easter with your DWELL group.
